Deal all,
I am glad I was able to touch many of you with my story. Especially, Mr. Bindra your comments were heartwarming.
To Anita and Suresh and others who think the story is regressive.
It is not my intention to malign Priya's character or pass judgements on her conduct. For some this may seem a way of life (I am sure there are many who are going through Priya's predicament in real life) for others it may rise questions of morality and honesty. If you can think of a different ending for the story, please do share with all of us.
This also raises serious issues about sharing information with one's spouse before marriage. How much is much? Information about past relationship (including sex) may be upto each individual. But issues regarding abortion and STD is a different matter all together. Someone said that Priya's reason for leaving the marriage should be her not loving Anand in the first place. But in any arranged marriage, a person does not loving a spouse immediately. Did Priya really love the other guys with whom she had relationships? May be not. She loved a certain lifestyle and was willing to do anything to achieve it.
Thanks again for all your frank comments.
